  • If imaging studies are an integral part of the case, please personally review the relevant studies and comment on them in your report.
  • If relevant imaging studies or other portions of the medical record are not available for your review, you should contact the Field Investigator and request the studies. If they can not be obtained, please indicate so in your report.
  • When reviewing a case, please address the specific allegation(s) described in the summary of the complaint that you receive. However, you do not need to limit your review to the specific allegation(s). Rather, please determine whether any aspects of the case you are reviewing are not in keeping with the standard of care.
